Comfortable, Precise Care With Modern Dental Tools
At Terrell Family Dentistree, we invest in dental technology that improves accuracy, speeds up treatment, and keeps patients comfortable throughout every visit. Each tool in our office is chosen for its safety record and clinical value, giving Dr. Crystal Stinson clearer information to diagnose issues early and plan treatment with confidence.
Digital X-Rays
Our digital X-ray system captures detailed images of your teeth and displays them on a screen within seconds. This lets Dr. Stinson view tooth structure and surrounding tissue with strong clarity, which supports faster, more accurate treatment planning. Digital X-rays also use significantly less radiation than traditional film X-rays, making them a safer choice for patients of all ages.
Panoramic X-Ray
The panoramic X-ray machine captures a full 360-degree view of the teeth, jaw, sinuses, and surrounding bone structure in a single image. This wide view gives Dr. Stinson a more complete picture than a standard X-ray alone, which is especially useful for spotting issues like impacted teeth, jaw irregularities, or early signs of bone loss.
Cavitron
The Cavitron is a handheld ultrasonic device used during periodontal deep cleanings. Instead of relying only on manual scaling, the Cavitron uses gentle ultrasonic vibration to break up and remove calculus from teeth and gum lines efficiently. Patients typically experience a smoother, quicker cleaning process with less discomfort.
Nomad X-Ray Gun
The Nomad handheld X-ray system is a cordless, battery-powered device that allows our team to capture accurate images without the constraints of a fixed X-ray unit. Because it can be used in any treatment room, the Nomad supports efficient scanning with reduced radiation exposure compared to many conventional X-ray systems.
iTero Digital Scanner
The iTero digital scanner creates precise, detailed 3D images of your teeth and bite without the need for messy, uncomfortable impressions. This technology allows us to plan treatments such as Invisalign and restorative work with a high level of accuracy. Patients can also view their own scanned images, making it easier to understand treatment recommendations.
EVO Laser
The EVO laser is used for a range of soft tissue procedures, offering a gentler alternative to traditional dental tools. This technology allows for precise treatment with less bleeding, reduced discomfort, and faster healing in many cases. Patients benefit from shorter procedure times and a more comfortable overall experience during soft tissue treatment.
